Daniel Gomez makes debut with River Plate

San Juan Puerto Rico- Former Seleccion Miami defender Daniel Gomez scored a goal on a free kick to help River Plate PR defeat Atletico San Juan 2-0 in his debut  in the Puerto Rico Soccer League.  “El Zurdo” (Lefty) hit a beautiful power shot over the wall of players early in the game to put River Plate PR in the lead 1-0.
       

River Plate PR, an affiliate of River Plate Argentina, is a member of the eight team professional soccer league in Puerto Rico.  Fluminense (Brasil), Pachuca (Mexico) and Sevilla (Spain) also have affiliates in the developmental league which made its debut Saturday.  The season will run through October, with the playoffs immediately afterwards.

CTC under 9 place 2nd at Venice Summer 3v3 Challenge

CTC Bandits FC, under 9 recreational team, traveled to Venice, Florida to play in the Venice Summer 3v3 Challenge on June 14th and 15th. Coach Daniel Gomez selected six players to play in the 3v3 Soccer Challenge, a popular organization who organizes tournaments year-round in different cities. The Challenge is an exciting way to help younger players develop their skills and tactical awareness on 2 or 3 man combinations.

Bandits Expansion to Broward

ImageJune 12, 2008 - The CTC Bandits FC youth soccer club announced today, that the club and St Bartholomew Catholic Church have reached agreement to establish a youth soccer program at the field adjacent to the church in Miramar.  Bandits-Administration Director Carolina Pineda stated that the agreement will create a base in Broward for the youth club while servicing the soccer rich community in east Miramar. “This community has an enormous amount of young talent and our focus has always been the player development part of the game. As such, our expansion into this area was only natural and we look forward to providing professional soccer training and working with the community to develop that talent" 

 

The Club will begin tryouts at St. Bartholomew immediately every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday throughout June at 7:00pm.  For more information on the CTC Bandits FC contact our office at 305-826-8767.

CTC Bandits FC Tryouts

Image Weds, June 4 - CTC Bandits FC invites all Boys and Girls to join South Florida's Premier soccer club. We will be hosting tryouts every THURSDAY at 6:30pm during the month of June.

 

The tryouts will be held at Monsignor Pace Highschool located at 15600 NW 32 Avenue, Opa Locka Florida. We invite all interested or experenced soccer players between the ages of U8 and 18.
